Promoting Diversity And Racial Inclusion Through Media
The Charleston Area Urban League is consistently active in promoting its cause of promoting diversity and racial inclusion in the Charleston, SC area and uses many forms of media to get its message out. Along with our website, the CAUL has a Facebook page, Twitter feed, an Instagram account, and now a podcast series called "A Seat At the Table," which features interviews with local and national leaders on topics related to diversity, racial inclusion, and social justice.
Charleston Fair Housing
Media Campaign
We recently launched our fair housing campaign in partnership with CARTA to help close the economic gap for African Americans and others who are underserved in our area.
Our Fair Housing program provides counseling and homeownership services to the Charleston Lowcountry community.
CAUL is working hard during this housing crisis to provide anyone with the tools they need to stay afloat. This campaign will be a huge impact by spreading awareness about the importance of fair housing and aid our organization’s expansion to serve more in need.
If you or someone you know needs fair housing assistance, or if you’re interested in helping us create more fair housing opportunities in Charleston, please contact us today.
"A Seat At the Table" Podcast
The Charleston Area Urban League is excited to announce the launch of our new podcast series, "A Seat at the Table." This series will promote diversity and racial inclusion, and provide multifaceted programs that assist African Americans and all other underserved groups to achieve social equality and economic self-sufficiency.
We believe that everyone deserves a seat at the table, and we are committed to empowering our underserved community members to lead productive and fulfilling lives. By sharing our stories, we hope to inspire and motivate others to create change in their own communities of the Lowcountry.

Each new episode with a different theme, and we will be inviting community leaders, activists, and everyday citizens to share their experiences and perspectives. We hope that you will join us on this journey as we strive to create a more equitable and just society for all.
