FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS EDUCATION Workshops cover everything from credit to moving in, including budgeting, shopping for home, home inspections, preparing to move, and closing. FINANCIAL LITERACY The first step to renting or owning a home is knowing how to manage your money. The Charleston Trident Urban League financial literacy courses teach you how to manage your money and save for hard times. HOMELESS PREVENTION OUTREACH PROGRAM The CTUL's Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program, in partnership with Charleston County, provides financial assistance services to prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless. Please show your support for the Charleston Trident Urban League's programs and services to the community by making a donation of $20 today. Download a donation form or go to PayPal here. The CTUL's Fair Housing Program in partnership with the City of Charleston, the City of North Charleston, and Charleston County, provides assistance to individuals who do not receive fair and equal treatment by landlords, financial institutions, realtors, etc. Also, as an approved counseling agency of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the CTUL provides first-time homebuyer education, financial literacy, and comprehensive fair housing counseling services through this initiative.
